And the reason please.

Moved to PHP Programmers forum.
I doubt most people even use an IDE for PHP though. I test drove NuSphere's about 5 years ago and it was OK.

Using phpDesigner for almost 2 years now, and it works like a charm. Though not using the in-build debugging tools...

Notepad ++ is the tits.
nice and simple to use but has all the features that you 'need' and very few random functions that you NEVER use.

I've said it before (in other topics) and I say it again:
Aptana Studio is really great for PHP development, providing features such as intellisense/auto-complete/code-suggest, which makes you able to work faster!
Another great feature is code-snippets, aren't you tired of writing get and set methods for you private class members? Aptana!

I have heard of Notepad2, that is what I use for everything. All I really care about is being able to add whitespace how I want without having to hit tab 5 million times on each line. Notepad2 does a good job by starting your next line at the same spot as your previous line.

I'm really happy to see a lot of other PHP programmers using NuSphere.
I really wish it had some SVN support though. Having only CVS is a bit irritating as it's not quite as intuitive.
On windows, NuSphere is where it's at. It's really the simple things that I take for granted with it are the reasons I like it. It's ability to check through a project and bring up the parameters for functions as you start typing it, definitely handy when you get parameter order mixed up and don't want to have to constantly reference it.
No one mentioned it but has anyone here tried Coda for Mac? I feel like it's a highly underrated IDE but it's great for PHP editing and has some really sweet CSS features.
