If you want to learn Ruby and you dont want to mess with fumbling around trying to configure your environment? Then you may want to check out Instant Rails

I havent poked around with it too much but vermillion (from the Nomad Project) highly reccommended it to me.

Good find Thorian, I might install this at home on my Desktop and play around with Ruby. It really does seem like a fun language to learn.

The OS X (AKA GOOD) Equivilant is called Locomotive.

yeah InstantRails helped me out a lot with just jumping right into the thicket of things without having to configure anything myself, great program.

Unless I'm mistaken, the ruby framework is included with Locomotive, is it not?
