As I move more into software design I would like to really look over some design documents but I don't really find many out there.
At the moment I am very interested in seeing some data models for data base designs. But in general I would like to see more about what goes on in the architecture/design side of software.
Anyone know of any projects with design materials available?
Anyone know where I can get some design materials for anything?

The only open source project that I really know about its design is Blender -- but even here the documentation seems to be out of date. But at least it is there.

FOSS documentation. Isn't that an oxymoron? I know it's technically not, but it should be.
