Tutorial help

Posted 23 January 2006 - 01:08 PM

I am trying to follow a tutorial, to edit and add extra effects to a splash screen, the tutorial asks to add an image to the form, but on properties there is no "Add Image" the closest it comes to is "set background image"
I am using vb 2005 express edition in case it matters

Can you post a link to the tutorial? Or at least the relevant section of it?

Delete everything on the splash screen template and set the background colour to white. Add some text/images to the splash screen to display your application name/copyright/version etc.

This is what the tutorial is asking me to do, but i see no "Add Image" button

If its giong to be an image you'll be using in multiple places go into the resources and add there so that its globally available for all usercontrols created, Otherwise just keep it with each Forms local resx file.

I fixed the problem by creating the splash screen again (Deleting the one i created)
and changed the default image to the image of my choice
