Well, developing an admin panel can certainly be accomplished...it is realy just a matter of designing the solution you want.

I'd suggest you begin be designing a high level view of the site/application and the functionaliyt of that site/application. You can then define the possible user roles, and how they will interact with that functionality (this should all be designed on paper first). Once you have that information, you can begin to build the site/application, one module at a time, keeping in mind that each module should have a submodule in which they check user permissions (it may be better to build a single user permission check module).

Do you have an idea of what you would like the site/application to do?

Thanks for your reply!!

Yea, I have an assignment to develop an intranet solution for a company. I have written a requirment list for that solution. but may be those are not enough.

Front-end options can be more or less. But I am tense about the back-end(admin panel). I mean where to start!!!

How can I make it user-friendly or flexible of the user!! Which will be the right way!!

Here I am sending my paper work. I may be a childish work!!!!

Are you like wanting us to make it or something?

That seems to be a pretty elaborate system.

Maybe you are just looking for where to start?

Re: Admin Panel

Let's think about what exactly we need. First we need a mysql table called admin_users. This table will have these fields ( Remeber this is just BASIC )

id - int,primarykey, auto-increment.
username - text
password - text
rank - text ( admin, user, so on.. so forth
ip - text
....

Make a form that allows them to register, and the are just a user at first, you can set a default to that with the fields.

When you make this registration script, make sure it checks to make sure that no one else has a name like that. I am NOT going to give you this script because well... You need to learn, not me.

Make sure that when you make the login script, it checks the username and password. Always make the password enscrypted! Usually the md5() function will do.

Now suming up what I said, you need to find tutorials on these topics.

PHP & Forms. ( POST & GET )
PHP & MySql ( Tizag.com has great tutorials on this! )

Sorry that this reply is not organized, but I think it gets the job done.

Just remember that if you try, you USUALLY succeed. If you need help just pm me, email me, IM me whatever. I am here to help and you guys are good, loving( Uh... ) and senseble people. So just get in contact with me for help.

That is all..
