Anyone else think this is a bad thing? Well, assuming that someone after your bank account has a few thousand to blow on 300 PS3's to crack your passwords and encryption....
Practical? No, though I can't say that's stopped many people before.

I think it's a bad thing that you posted links & can't just talk about the topic.
After reading your short opinion to the subject, I'm assuming there is a security issue with the PS3. As with computers, my feeling is that security is the responsibility of the owner. Just like driving, putting a PS3 on the internet or a network is a privileged & not a right.

Anyone else think this is a bad thing? No, I think it's a good idea because the government is making good use of the ps3.
" Naturally this is only being used to break encryption on computers seized with a warrant and suspected of harboring child pornography."
If it's true, good for US.
