Hello,
I am wondering if someone could help me. I don't know where to post this and I thought this forum might be the right one. I have been wondering about setting up HTTPS and SSL on a LAMP/WAMP production environment. Basically I would like to establish encryption for user login and such.
I was wondering if you know where I can get more info on this/ if you know any article on the web/book that might be helpful?
Thanks a ton!

Moved to Web Servers & Hosting, as this is not a PHP question.

If your webserver is Apache, there should be a ssl.conf file in the same directory as httpd.conf. You will also need to forward port 443 requests as you did port 80 requests. Lastly, you will need to either get a signed certificate, or self-sign your own using openssl.
There should be plenty of documentation that came with your web server.
