Hey, I have a project with asp.net and i have to create a login page. My problem is that it deals with ms sql and i am having problems getting the information and then comparing it to what was entered. It doesnt have to be a secure login just a normal get data from the database and compare it to what was entered in the textbox's.
Now the harder part is that i have one login but it has to check 2 tables. One is the Customers table and the other is the Staff table.

I had people telling me to put the data from the database into a dataset and compare but i couldn't get it to work.

If any one could point me to the right direction in tutorials cause i am really new to this and like need most coding to be explained.
