good afternoon,

i face a problem when i try to testany program from the internet,, I found the below error for 14 times or more to reach 134 error.. i asked my Mentor about it and he can not solve it..

c:\users\toshiba\desktop\testing\trackeye_sourcecode\calibration4pupil.h(9) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'cv.h': No such file or directory

could u tell me how to solve it, by steps .. because am bigginer in C++ and I have to know each step..

Do these three files exist in the current directory (the same as your code file)

"cv.h", "highgui.h", & "IconButton.h"

It seems as though he copied and pasted. You're not going to get anywhere by copying any pasting code. Although it seems like that is a great way to learn, as many things have been learned through reverse engineering, this is not the case with programming.

Onto the code. There are many problems with it. These being that the header files don't even exist on your computer, there isn't a main() function, and well.. It's just plain wrong lol.

I'm not trying to be mean, but it is the cold hard truth about programming. I used to be like you, and just ask for code, and it got me nowhere for years. Programming is practical, meaning through practice will you only develop the skills to become an efficient programmer.

Is this for a college class, or are you learning solo?

i am a senior student in the college and i am working for my final project. i have to an idea and we should prototype it and program it. with a little help from the teachers. we should to learn every things by our selves, so i am working in my mid-year break to save some time for next semester.

The error is clear, the file that the compiler is looking for does not exist.
What makes you think you even have this file?
Where do you expect it to be?
If you have it check the files actual name.

if this is for college, why are you copying and pasting from the internet? Did your professor allow copyright infringement for your mid term?
