post edition and deletion problem

hi,all

my question is for admin or moderator of this site.

first time i make a new post and i am able to edit my post that time only. after a day past i was unable to edit or delete my post .

so, plz tell me how to delete or edit my previous post.

This needs to go in Site Questions. However, the mods probably wont delete a post unless its absolutely nessecary

@zoltar The system is designed that way, you lose your edit/delete permissions fairly soon. Doing this prevents someone
  • IOP asks questions
  • Someone offers solution
  • OP edits everything out of their post
  • The thread becomes dead and useless since no one knows what was asked
So for these reasons only a couple groups have the ability to edit & delete a post. Here at Dream.In.Code we do not ever delete a tnread or post unless there is a very compelling reason for it.
