I just bought the 5-disc Blue-Ray "Final Cut" version of "Blade Runner". Watched all 5 disc's which includes all 5 versions.
1) US 1982 theater release (with Harrison Ford voice over)
2) International 1982 theater release (with Harrison Ford voice over)
3) the 1992 "Directors Cut"
4) the new "Final Cut"
5) the "Working Copy"
It includes everything you can imagine... behind the sceen bio's, trailers, making of, yadda yadda yadda.
It is without a doubt a "good movie" but some people think it is the best Sci-Fi movie EVER!
Personally I'm still partial to "2001: a space odyssey"...
What-da-ya-think?
Blade RunnerIs it the greatest Sci-Fi movie ever?

One of my Favorites to say the least. I wouldn't go out and buy the 5 disc blue ray but it's pretty awesome.

As I said I have never watched the movie or even heard of it, I just assumed it was an Off-topic post

No probably not the best ever, but a decent movie just the same. I've also enjoyed Demolition Man and StarWars (who hasn't?) in the past. The plot was a little shaky at some points on this one.

I only recently saw Blade Runner, like within the last year. I gotta say, for the time of production it was certainly better than Star Wars! Most likely because it had a much more adult oriented story line.
It really did have that "ghost in the shell" feel to it, questioning humanity, the soul, existence.
But as for the best... hrm. I don't know. Certainly a top 10, maybe even top 5. But I don't know if I'd say Best.

How have you not seen Star Wars?!?! I can't flip channels on a lazy sunday without running into it at least twice. I'm not even like "A Star Wars fan" per-sey, but I've seen the movie at least 20 times and I don't own it.
