It seems that over 90% of Windows machines in the world have some version of .NET installed, and over 60% have 3.0 or higher installed.
That's a really high value! Thoughts?

Microsoft has had ~90% market share of computer operating systems for a long time, it's old news.

First of all, this refers to the framework and not the OS. Second, this article by Scott Hanselman is directed to those people who say that they should develop their applications with something else (not .NET) because not everyone has .NET Framework installed.

This seems obvious. .NET is required to run a great deal of Windows apps, so why wouldn't it be installed?
