SQL Programmer looking to learn something new!

Posted 21 January 2010 - 06:54 AM

I have been a MS SQL programmer for about 4 years now. I am currently looking to learn some new languages, but don't really know where I should start. I am interested in hearing your opinions on which language might be most beneficial, or easiest to learn for a beginner. I don't really have any projects at work that I need them for at the moment, but I want to expand my horizons. I am interested in working through example projects/tutorials on my lunch and breaks and thought you guys might have some suggestions on the best options for me! Let me hear your suggestions!

Thanks! :^:

Welcome to Dream.in.Code. :) I think you might be in the wrong forum here. This question might better belong in the Corner Cubicle or Software Development forums. And actually, there is already a thread on this topic. You might want to take a look at it.

This would probably be more appropriate in the Corner Cubicle so I'm moving this there.
