I do a lot of AS3 work making small games and working with physics I don't have anything online to show for it at the moment but that will change soon. I have been working on a couple games, 1 being a tower defense and another is an rts.
I do lots of AS3 work for my classes and personal projects: games, movies, you name it. Probably going to throw some stuff up on my portfolio this evening or tomorrow. Got interviews this week, including Zynga ^.^
I just finished a memorial movie/slideshow for stillborn children as a charity project (depressing, I know), am finishing up a game from this year's Global Game Jam, and am working on a game for class. That, and I've been playing with Flash since Flash 5. Thank goodness for AS3 and real programming. So yeah, I've picked up a few things... But proper and smooth collision detection still gives me hell.
I work full time as a C#/.NET developer, but have also worked on a multitude of flash projects since the as1 days. I got certified in AS2, and now I am developing in AS3. Actually looking to produce a couple facebook games with .NET backends, but that's somewhat on the back burner just due to working full time, student full time, and family.
Hi, I am an Indie Game Developer. I started game development 4 years back on flash platform and even today develop most of my games in flash. Also use flash for developing cool applications like a mp3 player I did using AIR.
Im a Senior Creative Technologist and have worked with flash for 8-9 years fulltime and Flex since it arrived on the scene. I work around the world for the top advertising companies and leading teams specializing in big flex and flash data driven sites.
My work is here, - Its out of date. but you get that
I know actionscript 3.0 very well, and used to hang out a lot at actionscript.org, flashkit, and kirupa for the flash stuff. Actionscript freelancing was my primary source of income for a couple years there and have dealt with most aspects of it.
So I just stumbled into this area of DIC to see what it's like... seems a little on the less active side for here at DIC. I'll poke my nose around a bit though, see if I can be of any help in the next few weeks.
I work exclusively with flash, been with it since macromedia owned the program. Started off builing sites in as2 and 1.0 working mostly with the timeline, then stepped it up with actionscript 2.0. A few years into my AS2.0 work, AS3.0 came out and I again dove into the books and have come out with a few more years of flash under my belt. Some of my projects include works with Mckesson Healthcare Corp. (AS2.0) The Department of Defense, (AS3.0) and several other projects with companies like Cox Communications, Chick-Fil-a, Royale Records... etc. Flash Web Projects.pdf(40.92K) Number of downloads: 379
