I'm new to the forum so bear with me
Xplora Web Browser has been out for quite some time now, since 2008. Only I have been coding Xplora Web Browser. I want to change this. Especially because of the new Xplora Web Browser update (6.3) which will put the fuel in the engine!
If you don't know already, Xplora Web Browser 6.3 is only about 15% completed at the moment and it's been one month. Some of the new features are:
New Web Rendering engine
New error handling and reporting
Reduced and new code, I expect a 50+% web browsing speed.
These are the current new features expected to be added in Xplora Web Browser 6.3, and the list will heavily increase.
Now, one of the feature above is "New Web Rendering engine." Now this rendering engine (if you don't know what it is) is like Gecko (Mozillas' Rendering engine) or Trident (Internet Explorers' Rendering Engine). What do I want to do with this engine? Easy, build it up (To have no errors on <a href="http://acid3.acidtests.org/" target="_blank"></a>) and make it faster.
Now of course the Rendering Engine will take a long time to make, and along with a long time, it will also be REALLY hard. This is why this topic is labeled as "Advanced"
I cannot create all this by myself, and am looking for a team of developers, willing to help out a bit.
If you want to develop, you can:
1) Post a reply to this thread
2) Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org (Yes I know, strange email)
If you do wish to join, please make sure you clarify what you want to work on (Design of Xplora, New Rendering Engine (For advanced people only!), tabs, etc...), your programming skills (Do you know C++, C#, VB? Perl? What programming language do you know?) and also how long you have been programming for.
