Trying to figure out the name of a melody

Posted 29 January 2010 - 02:54 AM

I have only one clue in this riddle, the name ends with a D, it's a famous melody I have seen TONS of clips of people that play it on guitar.
I also believe the song is 100+ years old. Any one know what song I might be meaning? =P
I believe it's 2-3 words and the last "word" is a single D.

I am totally lost here =p so hopefully someone know what melody I mean
