Programmer needed!

Posted 29 January 2010 - 09:42 AM

I'm looking for a countdown timer program that meets these needs -

Everytime I hit the "i" key on the keyboard it adds 1 min 25 secs onto the clock
Doesnt start counting down until it hits 5 min (So hitting the "i" key 4 times)
When it starts counting down (from 5 min or more) it will launch a program (EXE Program)
Then when the counter hits 0 the program will close. (I would like the ability to choose what program it opens and closes)

If anyone is interested I'm willing to give them some cash. I just haven't found any programs that can do these tasks.

Really need help!

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish with such a program but this topic would be better off in the Post a Job forum so I'm moving this there.

Your the man, Thanks I should have scanned the forums a bit better before posting, I thought that would have been a good location.

Ah actually its for a coin accepting unit, I directly wired it onto a keyboard which pushes the the key "i" every time a coin is inserted.

Well that would defeat the purpose of putting it here really, I have no knowledge of code whats so ever, so thats like telling me to fix my engine block with no mechanic skills. but thanks for your suggestion anyway.

You might want to add what language you want this programmed in as there are several out there.

Hi there, I can do this program for you no sweat. But instead of giving me money, how about gifting me a Steam game?

It costs 9.99$ and you can find a link here:
http://store.steampo....com/app/31410/

You can gift it to my Steam account (I'll PM you my account) and I'll send the small .exe file.

I'm going to make it in C# though, it's much easier for me to make it using that.

Let me know. :)

Very Easy, but like meghrajsinghbeniwal says do you want the clock visible or invisible? I can do either in a few clicks. As a matter a fact I'll do it right now.
