Couldn't you just disable the form and re-enable it after the sleep

Of course you would have to move it to another event as it wouldn't open the form until the code was done in the form1_load event therefore making it take 5 seconds for the form to be shown

I cannot think of a reason (other than malware, spyware & viruses) why someone would want to do this, so why are you trying to accomplish this?

He's already been told this is a terrible idea and should most definitely NOT disable it to a point where the User can't take control back over.

You can't tell me what to do. It's as simple as that. Same with the keylogger posts.
Yeah i know: "you always want to get spoon fed". Yeah RIGHT. But you know what ill never be a programmer. I never studdied a book in my life about VB.NET. Who carries? im just making a program for personal use. I find it a terrible idea becoming a programmer. Its not about the way you guys work but... I think its a Low-Level Job.

It gives an illusion that you are someone but in the end you are nothing.
How many software developers, gaming programmers are out there?
If you ask a simple question "Why did you took this job?" 90% percent
of them will answer "Cause i like computers". Which is far from the main
idea why should i be a programmer?

Well i am stupid and you can see it from the way i work.
1. You studdy and learn every single detail.detail of your job.
2. Then you start working on a project.

But as i said. This is a hobby for me, not a job.

Im about to stop wasting my precious time on programming.
This will happen when i finish my last project.
Maybe ill start programming again in who knows 5-6 months.

Here's how i work:
1. I think of a program worth coding
2. I start the project. When i find some difficulties you already know where i look for answers.

2 dead simple steps. Thats why i don't have problems like "I'm out of ideas".

Programming can be a hobby also.

This kind of code and actions can most definitely be used for malicious activities so I dont think this is something we want associated with Dream.In.Code in any way.
