What have you tried? We can't just simply explain in words how to write a full fledged program.

Nobody is able to 'teach you' anything - its up to you to learn, and this is something which can only be achieved when you make an effort, mainly by reading and doing some research for yourself. A good place to start would be your text book, or, if you're on a course, then the material provided by your tutor. Google is also a good place to look.

Start out by defining what exactly you want your program to do and build it in small steps. you can ask specific questions once you've got something to ask questions about.

Did you search on Google? There are TONS of tutorials & snippets on C++ calculators. Here's a snippet from DIC: http://www.dreaminco.../snippet884.htm
Have fun!
