well if you want to buy one then get Microsoft Visual Studio.

There some good free ones though, my favorite is code::blocks which can be found at http://www.codeblocks.org/

some others are Microsoft Visual C++ Express Edition and dev-c++, they both can be found easily with a google search.

At the top of the topics list in C/C++ is our C++ FAQs topic.
Inside that topic is a link to a List of C++ Resources topic.
The 27th post in that topic is a short list of compilers/development environments.

You can't "download" C++. It's a language, not a program.

I download C++ language ... it's called the ISO standard. It's the definition of the language! :bigsmile:

You can get an english dictionary or an english grammar book, but you can't "get english", right? ;)

By the way, Visual C++ express is free and personally, Visual Studio is my favourite IDE.
