PHP project

hello every one!!!
I am doing a PHP course.Now i have to submit a project developed using php to my mentors.Can any one suggest me some nice topics on which i can start working???I have been asked to choose my own topic.As i am confused,I would appreciate if someone suggests me some simple(and small plz) php project topics.

God I hate having to choose my own project, I am just not a creative person, so I always make boring choices..

The mighty Martyr2 has posted a list of recommended projects, try looking there.

If that fails I am currently working on a fairly simple Blogging CMS give that a go it is a fantastic little project and can be scaled to however complex you need it to be..
