You cannot make an ASP.net application into a stand-alone application. So I'm sorry to say you are SOL on that point. However if you are looking to make an installer you can follow pdkharkar's link. But in the first step select "Web Setup Project" and then you can ignore the rest of that page. That will add another project under you ASP.net application. right click on that newly added project, hover over "add" and click "project output". All your project really needs it the primary output, but feel free to experiment. Then when you are done selecting all that you can say build and it will build the msi installer. Now you can drag and drop that onto any windows computer that is running IIS 6 and above (I only have worked with IIS 6 and 7 so I am not sure about previous versions). Please note that this installer WILL error out if IIS isn't installed on the computer.

Good luck and happy coding!
