QUERY: AJAX + MDI = Closest thing to WinApp

Posted 18 April 2006 - 09:13 AM

I heard that AJAX can simulate "Multiple-Document Interface" in a webpage.
For example:

http://www.live.com/
http://www.meebo.com/

I have searched through the entire http://atlas.asp.net/ website and still
can't find any sample code that can do this.

Can someone enlighten me on how I can get those nice windows using AJAX?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Fancy HTML/CSS and images, AJAX has nothing to do with layout and looks.

AJAX is a concept about retrieving data without having to refresh the whole page.
