ASP.NET Roll Call

Posted 24 February 2010 - 11:53 AM

In this thread, we'll be keeping a running list of ASP.NET (Using either C# or VB.NET or even Mono) Programmers here at Dream.In.Code. This will give us a great opportunity to get to know each other, learn more about others coding abilities, and find other ASP.NET Programmers with similar interests. Reply to this thread and we'll try to keep an updated list up at the top of our ASP.NET Programming D.I.C
Heads!

I've been working with Asp.Net mostly in C# for about 6 months now for about 2 hours a day after work. My day job is not writing code, but I'd like to make a career change soon. I got a software development degree at a mediocre college a few years back but never ended up working in the field. Loving ASP.Net so far, so much more to learn!

Hi :)

My name is Frinavale (Frinny for short) and I have been developing with ASP.NET for several years now. I mainly work with VB.NET but since I come from a C/C++ background I can easily understand C# and can even provide answers using that syntax (all the .NET languages use the same underlying libraries anyways so it's pretty easy to switch between them...so long as the syntax is correct).

I love to develop software and to help others.

I've worked with ASP.NET, dabbled in ASP.NET MVC (which I hope to use for all new-future projects), have some experience with Javascript, have experience using the Ajax.NET framework to develop Ajax enabled server controls...I haven't played with JQuery much yet but I will be getting into it shortly.

I hope to learn from this forum and help others as well.

I look forward to getting to know you.

-Frinny

Hi my name is Andrea. Have been developing Access databases for a couple of years. Formally trained in Java but haven't used it. I'd like to build a database using ASP.NET/SQL and could use some help in getting started. Look forward to learning from this forum.
