CreaturGames Trecto Studio 2010 WDevelopment Edition

Posted 12 March 2010 - 09:47 AM

Hello there,

For the past months, the CreaturGames team began working on a new edition to the Trecto Studio set called Trecto Studio 2010 WDevelopment Edition, or Windows Development Edition. Our first Trecto Studio program, meant for game development, was not as productive as any other development, caused by the amount of people wanting to make there own software, not games. We have a alpha test, not available yet, but it is working. Our goal is to reach a point where people can visually make the program that they want to make, not just program it. We hope lots of you will like the new windows development tool when it is finally finished.

Hope you like the idea! :neat:

It must have been an impossible feat to just post on the topic you made awhile back. Or just improve the current version to support both games and windows. Also is this a team or just you wanting to sound significant by acting as though you have a team?

No, its a team. I'll even put the names of the people that are on the team:

CreaturGames(Team leader, programmer, and supervisor)

LelouchRebellion(programmer)

YumYumGuy(programmer)

trainer135(programmer)

aransuper(programmer)

krazykaram(mostly solves errors in the programs we make)

If you want, you can visit our team website at http://s1.webstarts.com/creaturgames

Any plans to buy your own domain? Also what about my other two questions. It seems (constructive criticism here) that you never get past a beta, you never fully finish anything at all.

Thats not really the full case. We are simply, as we call it, renaming the program and reconstructing the full implement of the cause for the program. On the other hand, we are just discontinuing the project because there is no point in it. As you said about Karma Shop.

And about the domain, we tried using co.cc, but it seems to be that the operators of co.cc do not reply when we try to replace the domain. That is why we are soon going to be buying our domain, but not at the moment, if you understand our logic of saving money for now, than once we get more money from our products, than we supply ourselves with currently needed things.

What does that mean?

Some valid points, while you have started many topics about a new "scripting" IDE or language and given them all different names, and just because you have renamed something doesn't mean that you have to go back to beta 0.1.

PS. Domains are really really cheap. Less than $10 a year if you know where to look. :)

I hope this does well, I just ask you choose something and stick with it until it can do something. Literally anything. At least make the tool strip buttons do something when you click them. And give a help file. Because as I have said before, no one can use your program if you don't teach them how. You can't seriously except them to guess how to program in your language.

Well, some good points on your side as well. And I know this is a stupid question, but what is that DLL called for docking panels in C#? Tab Controls are poorly designed in the visual looks.

And we may not get the visual designer into the IDE untill later development of the program. It takes lots of work to get it to work properly in order for it to be a useful visual designer. :gun_bandana: :gunsmilie:

This project has been delayed till further notice!

We decided that there is no point in making a programming language since there are so many out there that there is no real reason to do so, since most languages are simple enough for the human brain to understand. :gun_bandana: :withstupid:

It should have been an insult, in a nice way :)

Anyway, thank you for proving that
