I have a VB6 application which uses Access as the database, but don't really know how to make two computers share my application, while the database resides in only one of the systems. I'm thinking of two things:
1) Having a copy of the application in both systems and the database in just one of them.
2)Having both the application and the database in just one of the systems(a sort of server) and the other system accessing the application and database through the other. Thanks for solutions.

make the database on network the master, then replicate it to any user locally. then install the application on as many coputers you want. all local users write to the replicated database and at end of your program have the local databases syncronize with the master on the network. This way when anyone open the database they all will see same data after sync'ing with master. and everyone can work at same time.
