How to define male or female categories

Posted 10 May 2006 - 02:18 PM

All
Got a Categories Table and Products Table which are to hold Categories of Perfume so got lngCategoryID; strCategory; strDescription.

Products Table: lngProductID; lngCategoryID; strTitle; strSize; strDescription; curPrice.

I've confused myself where should I define whether it's for Men or Women ?

in the Categories table ? under strCategory example DKNY for Men

Any thoughts most appreciated.

I would just add another field for an int value, just call it intSex or something, assign a 0 for female, a 1 for male, and if you need it (i have no idea about this stuff) a 2 for both
