I saw this thread earlier and I had a million answers but I didn't want to sound whiny and I sure didn't want everything I said to bite me in the ass later (it is on the internet after all).

Today though, what annoys me most is that the company I work at is too stupid to realize that the customer we constantly bend over for is slowing driving us into the ground.

It annoys me that we have completely unrealistic deadlines because the executives want to suck up to this customer. I wish they could just see past the little dollar signs in their eyes and realize that this customer is ultimately very bad for our company as a whole.

It annoys me that we have made significant customization to our product specifically for this customer and all this customization goes into the core application.

Maybe I'll link my boss directly to this post....

The worst part of my job is babysitting the managers. I am a data miner who builds predictive models for a business. I have a mixed technical / business background, so I understand the business side of things, but I swear to God that I've considered bringing crayons to meetings with managers, to give them something productive to do.

Worst part of that job: trying to keep the tater-tots from burning and a deep fat frier from splashing at 30,000 feet during a HAHO jump.

I have no complaints about my job except the pay. Protip: work for yourself so that you don't have to put up with any idiots except yourself. Protip: Make sure your customers are distributors and not end users, because end users are f***ing stupid, while distributors (or other links in the supply chain) are more likely to be competent.

I thought s/he was saying s/he was a game designer... i was like thats cool... and then I was like wait a second s/hes a fraud...

But yea I did play hockey for 10 years so I know how bad it sux to have crappy ice.. especially really wet ice... cuz your carrying the puck and then it just sticks and your like wtfjaldhf

BTW as far as my crappy job... I work at Wal-Mart and the worst part of it is the customers... you would think people that go back to electronics are half competent but no... they are so dumb... i guess all the smart people go to best buy... I hate customers.. unless they are wearing a miniskirt... or high heels.. or a tank top.. cuz i mean come on its a freaking tank top your supposed to stare
