The graphics are quite good, and the layout is ok, not what i would of chosen though.
There is plenty of information, but my biggest complaint is the sideways menu on the left, that is actually quite annoying.

I'm not trying to be argumentive, but I'm actually kind of diggin' the sideways menu. My only suggestion would be the layout. It just kinda looks like you spent too much time making everything else nice and finished up the layout in the last 5 minutes before the deadline *lol...
but overall, its not too bad

Honestly theres too many anamated things going on here, maybe get rid of the spinning thing and make the banner static.

I do like the navigation... It's a solid start but some changes could be made.

Well, there don't seem to be any major problems with this design. It could definitely use some more polish though. There are a myriad number of things you can do.

Possibilities:
— Try diffusing the hard look from all the straight lines.
— Try integrating the search form better so it doesn't looked tacked on.
— Try doing something about the animation; you might just remove that rotating globe since it seems overkill.
— You could use CSS position: fixed on that menu to make it scroll along with the user (in IE6 it will stay static though).
— Try messing with the "read more" buttons which currently seem oversized.
— Try messing with text-alignment and image floating.

In addition, you may also want to look at your code which is extremely messy:
W3C HTML Validation (XHTML 1.0 Transitional): http://www.grafikhaus.co.uk/

To get into good practice, you should really be using a strict doctype though:
W3C HTML Validation (XHTML 1.0 Strict): http://www.grafikhaus.co.uk/

Too many animated items. Other than that it is a good site.

Hi, Arbitrator. Many thanks for your response. Bit of a dummy with CSS, are you saying just adding

CSS position: fixed

to the menu will allow it to scroll down (apart from in IE6???

Your a bit inconsistant..... Your main information colum is aligned to the center while the others are aligned to the left. You should fix this, it's the first thing I noticed (minus all the animated objects, WAY too many for a website). You also inconsistant with the gallery page... it doesn't have those image haders like all the other ones do.

I'll also suggest chaning your link colors, they're default blue for the web browser....and it doesn't go well at all with all that pink!

As far as the navigation goes, I like it! ;) It's different, but be wary that people might have to turn there heads, and will be annoying.

I found some site elements were very distracting - the animated banner, mis-aligned grid system. Personally: centered text is for birthday and christmas cards, animated gifs should only be used to induce epileptic fits.

Firtsly, I would line everything up, it's all a bit 'wonky' at the moment, then remove the animations, all of them, they're not needed. Nothing has been improved by the animation you have added - it only shows that you can animate, not that you can animate well, or for a purpose.

I can see where you're going with the colour scheme but it all seems a bit 'flat' at the moment, very monotone.
