transparent div

how can use transparent div in css. It is use 100% page and bgcolor light gray.

You simply need to set 2 CSS opacity properties (one is proprietary to IE) to have this effect...

opacity: 0.0;
filter: alpha(opacity = 0);

Just to add on to RudiVisser - understand that all children of transparent divs are made the same transparency (dumb I know - it makes sense when you consider the Cascade of CSS, but it can be a pain)! So if you are wanting a semi transparent background where text will be on top - use a transparent .png image as your background.
