Would someone like to explain where that white space is comming from? The little line between the header and the left side. Better yet, how the fuck can I get rid of it. I've been playing with this code for like 4 hours.

Also, I'm trying to make it so that the page is expandable <-> that way, but I can't get it to not jack up the images. Any suggestions on that one?

I'm placing my bet on the header2.gif and the forums.gif sizes. They are off by a couple pixels too small in height.So it isn't your code. Neat design though.

It's one of those simple things that bug the heck out of you... lol, I pulled hair out on the same problem a while ago....

As far as making it expandable, you can try and add a background image to the top right cells and have it blend with the images, and do the same for the vertical images... I would give that a try.

Ok I added bg's to the two right most cell's and then changed their horizontal aligns to right then told the table to stretch and it's do this:

How about a DOCTYPE? :)
And, put something in those ALT attributes :) They're your friend :) And, Ruck's right, make the margin 0. And DO NOT use the marginright things in the body tags as those have been depracated. okay? :)

Pretty much all styling and formatting tags are being deprecated in favor if CSS/CSSP/CSS2 sheets.  A hassle in some cases, but a blessing in most.

A little trick I like to use while working with tables is to turn on the borders to see where is misalignment is origionating.

Not only turn on tables, but also use the "bordercolor" attribute to classify each level of nested tables, if you have them.  CSS is much easier to deal with than fifteenhundred tables in one page. (exaggeration)

Hrm. . . the error I'm getting is not a misalignment, it's that part of the board jumps down below the sidebar even though it's supposed to be contained in a column.  If you guys are getting a different mess-up, can you please email or post a screenshot?
