I have a table called clients that has a number of fields that I would prefer not to have NULL entries in.
Uisng Enterprise Manager, how do I establish a zero length string as the default for those fields?

HI folks
I have a table called clients that has a number of fields that I would prefer not to have NULL entries in.
Uisng Enterprise Manager, how do I establish a zero length string as the default for those fields?

Any number of ways...the easiest is likely to have the column as type texh or varchar, and default the entry to ""...that is, a quote followed immediately by another.
I'd be remiss, however, if I did not point out that this will not give you any functionality that a NULL value will not...
