Hello everyone, I'm new to dreamincode! I have a huge problem in that my Photoshop 7.0 just a few days ago began messing up. In the past when I opened a file (or dragged one into the program) it would open it normally so I could edit it, but now when I do this it simply tries to create a new blank file with the same dimensions as my image. Is there a setting that I hit by accident? It's driving me crazy and I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, yet it still does this! I need to get some serious work done and quick, so this is killing me because I can't figure it out and I haven't found any documentation on it either! Thanks for the help!!!

So, even if you try to just open a project, it creates a blank one?

Even after reinstalling some old configuration files remain. To clean this you need a cleaner program such as the free CleanUp! and you also need to go in to where photoshop stores files for brushes and such and delete that folder.
