I would like to try to make pong for Visual Basic 2008 for my final project in my introductory computer science class. I have been looking at examples online for this and I am worried it will be too hard for me to complete. Since this is my first computer science class, is pong too difficult? If not, do you know what I should be looking for? If so, where could I go for some simple project ideas? Thank you for reading.
Ping Pong for Visual Basic 2008Can you point me to good resources?

Moved to VB.NET...VB 2008 is .NET, after all.

The names for Visual Basic are confusing because Microsoft seemed to have officially changed them a couple of times. I read a little bit about it on wikipedia. It makes it confusing for a person in my position to find the appropriate literature to read about it.

There's a pong tutorial here on Dream.In.Code: Click to view
It's not particularly sophisticated, but it should be enough to get you started and then you could improve it yourself.
