SO what do you do when you are in the middle of a huge project and you just don't want to go anymore. I've been working on this project for years, but it jsut isn't fun anymore. I just hate to let all my hard work go to nothing.
Should I start a new smaller project or put down programming altogether for a while?

If it's a personal project and you are not enjoying it, why continue? If it is a business project or a resume builder, then I would work to bring it to closure, as it will look better that way.

Better to remain quiet and appear a fool than to open my mouth and remove all doubt.
Previous chemistry-based comment rescinded, hopefully before the science geek backlash.
