Hi I Am New To This Fourm So Forgive Me If I Have Put This In The Worng Place I HAve Been Programming For 3 Years And Need Help With A Project I Am Doing.

I Am Using Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition

I Have Made A Program And It Is Going Verey Well But I Now Need Some Help
I Need To Know How To Put Regedit Values Into Regedit Using Visual Basic 2008

Outline

I Want To Be Able To Add A Dword Value To A Exsisting Location and add a value to that Dword Value

Example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList and then Add a new Dword Value that is not there such as Administrator
and set the value to 1

is this possible to do in visual Baisc 2008 Express Edition or do I need to find an alternitve rout

Thank You For Any Insight you can give me and any support that can be offerd I Know you can do this for command Prompt Commands Becuase I have Been Doing it with That For Ages But Not Regedit

for command Prompt the code is as follows;

shell("Command Goes Here")

Hope this may help solve the problem

Kind Regards

Bradley
