Depends what you mean by huge, but if you're looking for the ultimate behemoth, Oracle is likely your best bet. For the most part, however, mySQL or one of the others can provide what you need, and it's really cost effective!

Remember, for true stability of your application, remember to set up a copy on a second machine...
