I still play Zork and the likes occasionally to be honest. I'm just curious to know if anyone's still into interactive fiction. It seems to have really fallen off the map around 2000, though there have been competitions since then.
Two of my favorite contemporary IFs are Galatea and Alabaster. Pure genius, in my opinion. I've yet to get around to Photopia yet, but I hear it's awesome.
Just curious to know who all is still into this stuff. It's a shame to see it falling away. It's got all the descriptive advantages of a book...except with interactivity!
Anyone still into interactive fiction?

You mean like forum rp's? I used to at EoFF but then a bunch of n00bs came in and flooded it with really lame rp's and killed our active ones with spam/dumb posts.

Not even close, Tifa. That's Forum RP. I'm talking like the ones I mentioned in the OP.
