Is there a program for this?

Posted 14 April 2010 - 11:09 PM

I'm looking for any sort of program that would allow one to (easily) drag and drop, and draw out a flow-chart for the logic of a program; I know it can be done on paper but I prefer computer stuff.

I tend to just use 'MS Word's drawing ability.

How exactly? The margins constrict everything. Maybe I'm not using it right but I've tried this before and it went badly.

Do it in whatever way you desire, but do consider that scribbling out a draft of a flow chart (or many other types of preliminary design-oriented sketches) with a pencil on paper is often less time consuming than trying to get all your logic/design worked out and organized via a computer application. Not that you should never go that route, but when first getting started it can greatly facilitate the creative process and certainly helps when it comes to interpersonal communication, with less of an investment.
