Positioning an element

Posted 29 June 2006 - 07:35 AM

Ok I can't seem to find a simple way to set the position of an element (div block) with javascript.
I thought about using a CSS command like document.getElementById('obj').style.left or something. But that doesn't seem to be working.

any suggestions?
