ColdFusion and Facebook

Posted 22 April 2010 - 06:34 AM

I've been trying to make my website more interactive with social network and I would like to know this is possible.

I have a Facebook page for my website, now is there an API call that let you automatically update you Facebook page wall as soon as a new post is displayed on your website?

I current do this with Twitter, so everything I have a new post on my website it will automatically post it to Twitter. I was just wondering with Facebook... but I want it to be on my Facebook Page and not to my profile.

Thanks

Facebook has a pretty extensive developer program that will walk you through the "how-to's" of using their API.

Not too tough. If you mastered the Twitter API, the FB API is a little more involved but it also does more and seems more stable than Twitter who has been known to change their API spec without a whole lot of warning.

Good luck!
