why does vb does not recognize my import statement?

Hi,

Because that doesn't exist in the .Net framework.

What are you using to read a finger print.

First make sure you have added the Import statements at the beginning of the code.

And then make sure you have added a reference of GrFingerXLibin your project.

@Luc001, i am using a Digital Persona U.are.U 4500 Fingerprint Reader

@Searock, i added the import statement at the beginning of the code... how do i add a reference to the project? i think that is the problem... thanks

In Solution Explorer right click on your project and then select Properties.
Then select the Reference tab, from there you will find the add button, and then select the browse tab.
