Hi
I am student and new to Java and was wondering if anyone had examples of implementing and inheriting Abstract Classes and interfaces, using JFrame Forms, and collection classes such as vectors.
I am currently using a book called absolute java as a learning aid but was hoping to have a look at some working samples so that i can get to grips with the principles.
This isn't for home work I just want to increase my own knowledge before i start a project.
I have tried google and have searched for threads here already.
Any help or direction would really be apreciated.
Many thanks
Nods

You may find the Java tutorials section helpful. It contains a bunch of tutorials on Swing GUIs, and japanir has a really good tutorial on Abstract Classes and Interfaces.

I think we went into pretty good detail here: http://www.dreaminco...48&#entry989948
I know I provided some examples among many other valuable bits of information.
