Posted 27 April 2010 - 04:37 AM

who won? Do we get some kind of badge for the forum? a $25 gift voucher? bragging rights for the resume?

C++ and openGL were back to back and the 2 topics i study the most. So ive been on the edge of my seat every day waiting for the verdict :D

Give me some good news,

I thought it was a challenge not a contest, may be wrong though.

By taking on the challenge, the real winner is you. Be proud, because you are embarking on an epic journey of enlightenment. Filled with amazing discoveries around every corner, built to engage your senses and engage your mind. The path to enlightenment lies before you, so be the best you that you can possibly be.

Nobody wins! It'd DIC's way of encouraging the community to try out new things and expand their skill sets. There are no winners. There's no prize. You're not graded on your work. (not officially, at least) Just have fun with it.

I was thinking of it more as a marathon and not a race.

Hey guys come on now I not trying to pit us against each other. But when your in an interview and you can say your part of the best programming community on the web. You post tutorials (which im still yet to do) and come out trumps on the challenges makes you more than a programmer. It tells your employer you enjoy your skills. My portfolio is weak, this site is such an amazing boost. I men't no offence by suggesting it was a comp.
