Qt and Apple Remote

hey,

is there anyway to implement the apple remote in a qt app? i tried the API from martinkahr but qt won't link.

it seems like you would need some sort of apple SDK to accomplish this.

the API i posted is a "front-end" for the apple sdk that is needed. but it won't work/link with qt...

That looks like the Makefile command is wrong? What is "c"? Should maybe be gcc?

Oh wait...the AppleRemote library is Objective-C, that may be why. I honestly haven't the faintest idea how to interface Obj-C with C++, or even if you can, so I can't be helpful.

i think there is some kind of objective-c++ which is able to combine c++ and objective-c. and it should work, because there is an demo app that comes with the qt installation which implements a search box from mac-gui into qt-gui. but i really don't understand why it won't work with the AppleRemote Library
