How do you send out sms in VB6 application?

How do you send out sms in VB6 application?

Hi All

I am battling for the past 3 days trying to find some working code to sending out sms from my VB6 application. I am a C# developer and VB.net, but I have no idea how to do this in VB6. I have already tried the Jmail.SMTPMail function and I get run-time errors 'activex componet can't create object'. I made sure to reference the Jmail.dll from Projects > References dialog box.

I am using a server from work to send our sms and a different server form smtp to send out emails. For the purpose of this project I need to allow a VB6 application to send out sms.

Any help or push in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Thank you paperclipmuffin.
I will try out the examples from that link. Maybe this will help me next time I come across a similar problem in VB6.

I did however manage to re-develop the entire application in .Net as I was pressing for time. Thanks a lot for the help.
