J2ME mobile application

Posted 30 April 2010 - 07:48 AM

Hi everybody,

I am newbie for J2ME.I have to do a project and selected to develop a pizza ordering system which I found by surfing the Internet.I want to know that Can I do this project since I am a new to J2ME? If so does it requires a server.I mean 2 computers??
My idea is to put a application on a mobile phone(Sony Erickson W595) to select pizzas and to send this data to mail account of pizza shop through Internet.
How can I begin?
What technologies should I use?
I have an idea to extend this project by adding image map to select the pizza shop.
Pls I appreciate ur help in advance

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

If you want to send the data to an email address, take a look at using the SMS protocol. You can also use an HTTPConnection to post data to a Server (possibly using a Servlet), and have the Server queue the input.
