Attaching zip or .7z files to a blog post

Posted 30 April 2010 - 04:08 PM

I'm having trouble with long posts.

First, I can't attach .cs or .xaml or .exe files because I get a "You aren't allow to ..." message.

So I put them into a zip file and attach the zip file. The zip file gets attached but when I download the attached file it is garbage. I can't unzip it.

Second, zip files don't work and .7z files give me the You aren't allow to ..." message.

So the only path left is to add the code to the blog post but blog posts are limited in size. (By the way, it doesn't show you that your blog post is too large, it simply doesn't post it and shows a pink bar at the top with no text or it simply truncates your post.)

Third, Blog posts are limited in size. I can understand this one. But without the other two it doesn't work for me.
