I know this is an old thread but I thought I'd add this anyway.

Excellent tutorial, I found this really helpful :D

Just one thing to point out.. if anyone's trying this in VS2010 or VC++ 2010, if you repeatedly get an error saying "Unresolved external _ScreenSaverProc... etc" check your character set isn't Unicode, it seems this causes problems. I set mine to Multi-byte and it worked a charm :)
