Hello everybody, a few friends and myself have this idea we would like to explore and possibly turn into an actual service. But before jumping right in we would like to get some user opinions to better understand if this idea will really be solving a problem. But because this idea seeks to fill an online related void we can't think of how to actually go about getting people's opinion. I was wondering if anyone here knows of a service or method of collecting online user opinions about an idea? Say you had an internet service idea and you would like to find out if it is something people might use how would you go about finding out.

Some of the ideas I've been thinking about are;

1. Email site owners and ask them if the service is something they would be interested in implementing on their site
2. Ask individuals if this is something they would see themselves using

But I'm sure there are other ways out there of reaching a larger group for candid response. If you know of one please do share.
